Art in Hawai'i

The ARTS at Marks Garage
An artist-run community arts center, which hosts exhibits, performances, lectures, screenings, and workshops.
Bishop Museum
The Bishop Museum was initially established to house the family heirlooms and Hawaiian objects of Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop, and has since expanded to include millions of objects related to Hawai‘i and other Pacific Island cultures.
Honolulu Museum of Art (HoMA)
HoMA holds an internationally recognized collection of more than 50,000 works spanning 5,000 years. The museum also hosts film and concert programs, and art classes and workshops.
Iolani Palace
Iolani Palace, once the official residence of Hawai‘i's monarchy, seeks "to preserve, restore, interpret, share, and celebrate the unique cultural, historical, and spiritual qualities of Iolani Palace and its ground for the benefit of native Hawaiians, the people of Hawai‘i, and the world."
John Young Museum of Art
The John Young Museum of Art features art from Asian, Southeast Asia, the Pacific Islands, Africa, and Mesoamerica.
Shangri La Museum of Islamic Art, Culture & Design
Shangri La features over 4,000 objects from Spain, Morocco, Egypt, Iran, Central Asia, India, and parts of Southeast Asia.
University of Hawai'i Art Gallery
