The site is published/updated by the Library of Congress, all material is unique to their collection. This site provides manuscripts, audio, maps, books, and much more covering the cultural history of America.

Created by Thomas Daccord, it contains links to over 1,200 history-related web sites that have been reviewed for quality, accuracy, and usefulness. This is a very nice website, which is easy to use and has won lots of awards.

Updated frequently, choose right image for primary sources, left for related websites.

Making of America is a digital library containing primary sources in American social history from the antebellum period through reconstruction. The collection currently contains approximately 9,500 books and 50,000 journal articles with 19th century imprints. Very well done.
