Cengage Learning provides advice on how to:
A case study tells what happened to a business (or non-profit, or industry) over time. Case studies allow you to learn about real-world organizational problems and how they can be addressed. They challenge and develop your problem-solving abilities. In general, case studies can be found in both scholarly and non-scholarly business journals, and also on the websites of business consulting groups.
Go to the Libraries homepage, select databases, and choose Business Source Complete from the A to Z drop down menu.
From the advanced search screen, select Case Study from the drop down menu labeled "Publication Type," just like the image below. Then enter the search terms relevant to your topic and hit the search button. Case studies should be in your results list.
Note: Harvard Business Review case studies are not available through HPU Libraries. If your professor has listed a HBR case study as required reading, check your course syllabus or contact your professor for access.
You can use the same technique as above (going to the advanced search screen and narrowing by Case studies).
