Industry classification codes can be used in business databases to search by industry. There are different classification systems.
1. From the Basic Search Tab, in the box on the right, click on either Primary SIC or Primary NAICS.
2. Click on "use code lookup"
3. Click on type of industry from list provided
4. Click on the Search button
What's a ticker symbol? It's an abbreviation used to identify a companies' stock name. It can contain letters, or a combination of letters and numbers. For example, the ticker symbol for Hawaiian Holdings, Inc., the company that owns Hawaiian Airlines, is HA.
