Hawaiian Language

The Hawaiian Language Collection is located at the Library at Waterfront (Downtown Campus) in the Hawaiian and Modern Languages Collection, which is organized in alphabetical order by language. These books have a “Hawaiian” label at the top edge of their spine.

Use the call number to find the book in the stacks. You can search for more books in our library using the HPU Discovery. The purpose of Ulukau, the Hawaiian Electronic Library, is to make these resources available for the use, teaching, and revitalization of the Hawaiian language and for a broader and deeper understanding of Hawaiʻi.
